This is my first complete rap song and it was done in my spare time, not for school. I came to record this myself because I wanted to practice recording and mixing vocals and I couldn't find anyone that sung, rapped or willing to do it what so ever. The lyrics originally wasn't a rap, but after hours of fooling with it it just seemed to fall into a rap. The concept is about gambling. I feel it needs improvement, I will eventually get back to it and see what I can do. Overall, I really enjoyed making this song, I feel the lyrics are pretty clever.

VERSE ONE

red, white, orange, black,
yellow and blue, wheels in a stack.
red and black, like a velvet sash,
spun out of control, don’t hold your breath.

column, corner, inside, dozen,
six-line special’s got me cussin’.
odds and evens, dealer gets toked,
gotta get away before i go broke.

kings are true, but aces rock,
queens in red, jacks on the block.
in a huddle, they are best,
a house full of twins, wins the bet.

call my bluff, and I call yours.
with a blank gaze, i’ll raise you four.
called with a smirk, here comes the flop,
the shade gets missed, and i win the pot.

It’s the drug and i’m the addict,
one arm bandit, my last pull,
20 in and my cup gets full.

Cash flowing all around
winners are happy and they abound
i’m ready for my win
will it be now before my patience wears thin.

palms are sweaty, eyes are blurred,
from the jack, my words are slurred.
wont stop never stop you cant top me,
ill be leavin’ in that mercedes.
